Summary statement
CGPN is committed to the control of infection within Maple Surgery and in relation to the clinical procedures carried out within it. Monthly and annual audits are completed to ensure we adhere to local and national guidelines.
A full environmental audit was performed in November 2024 where 91% overall compliance was achieved. An action plan has been generated to provide a framework to support full compliance and show corrective action needed.
Risk assessments are performed by both the surgery and NHSPS.
Learning events are shared within the practice team and demonstrate reflection and learning.
All staff are required to complete annual Infection Prevention Control training relevant to their job role. Current compliance is 100%.
