Temporary Residents

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment with us if we have appointment availability. The surgery reserves the right to refuse temporary registration where appointment capacity is limited.

Temporary Residents will only be treated for acute medical conditions and should return to their own GP for non-urgent referrals and chronic condition management.

To register as a temporary patient please contact our Reception team, who will take your contact details/symptoms & triage with our GP to ascertain appointment availability.  Our Reception team will contact you back with an update.

If you are seen by our clinical team, you will need to arrive 20 minutes prior to your offered appointment to complete a GMS3 temporary resident registration form and supply the relevant Identification.

You cannot register as a temporary patient with our practice if you are already registered with a GP in the local area.
